Based in Salem, Oregon, World Beat Dragon Boat Club welcomes adults age 18+ of all skill levels. We have multiple teams – both mixed and women only teams, and a cancer survivor paddle.

Dragon boat racing is pure joy on the water—a mix of splash, power, and perfect sync. Add in the laughter, teamwork, and “we’re‑in‑this‑boat‑together” energy, and you’ve got a sport that turns teammates into friends and races into unforgettable adventures.
World Beat Dragon Boat Race occurs on the last Saturday in June each year in Salem, Oregon.

World Beat Dragon Boat Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Salem, Oregon. The club is a member of the International Dragon Boat Federation and the Pacific Dragon Boat Association.
Proudly operating under the Salem Multicultural Institute, we helped bring the first Salem World Beat Festival to life in 1998. Since then, the festival has become a beloved celebration of the many cultures that make Oregon extraordinary.
